Explorer Scouting in Enfield  

There are seven Explorers Units in Enfield with over 120+ Explorer Scouts aged 14-18 years old. To find out more about Explorers visit the Scout Associations website on Explorer Scouts

All units operate weekly programmes and participate in District events and activities.  Explorer Units are independent from Scout Groups and we are collectively known as Enfield District Explorers with our own red and white scarf and badge.

The units are; New River (Enfield Town); Parker Bowles (Freezywater); Everest (Alma Rd); Hilly Fields (Gordon Rd); Lynx (Slades Hill); Bush Hill Park (Bush Hill Park) and John Gilpin (Edmonton Firs Farm).

 

Duke of Edinburgh

If you are part of Scouting in Enfield and aged over 14 you can join the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.

To register there is a small cost involved. For Bronze and Silver the application fee is £12, and for Gold its £18. All Enfield Explorers should use the form on the right and return with the correct fee.

Remember an application form needs to be completed before you start on any relevant activities.

Explorer 100 Club
Would you like to help Explorers raise funds and at the same time have the chance of receiving a monthly cash prize? Then why not join our 100 Club where there are monthly prizes of £25, £15 and £10. For more information on how to enter visit the website www.100club.org.uk

 

Explorer Programmes
This section is provided for Explorers to check out the programmes of all units in Enfield. If an Explorer wants to take part in an activity of another unit they must contact the unit leader first. Old programmes are available to help Explorers decide on potential future activities in their units.
